Home/Corporate video
Training, recruiting, brand and product video for companies in Kansas City and beyond. One crew from script to final cut, and our own studio in Overland Park, since 1997.
Who we have worked with
What we make
Six kinds of video companies ask us for most. Many projects are two or three cut from the same shoot.
Product training, safety, process and onboarding: the videos a company shows every new hire, made clear enough to learn from and built to be watched again.
The job, the crew and the place, shown as they are, so the right people apply. We have made recruiting films for Havens Construction and the City of Grandview police.
Who you are and why it matters, told through your people and your work. For the website, the pitch and the all-hands.
The product in use, or the idea explained in a couple of minutes, so a buyer understands it without a demo. DashVault for CommunityAmerica Credit Union is one.
Real customers, on camera, unscripted. We run the whole production so what comes back is ready to share, and credible because nobody was reading a line.
Broadcast and streaming spots, with the social cutdowns made from the same shoot. We have made spots for Cates Heating and Cooling and Henderson Legal Defense.

The number
$15,000 to $25,000
That is where most corporate projects land. Shoot days, locations, the number of people on camera and the finish you need move the price more than the length of the video. We quote it in writing, before anything is booked.
Where to start
Who the video is for, where it will run and the date you are working to. If you have a script or past videos, send them; if not, that is what the first call is for.

Work process
Four steps, every project. You always know what is happening now and what comes next.
See the process
01
We start with the goal, not the camera. Who it is for, what it has to say, and the number it needs to move.
02
Crew, lighting and sound, on location or on our Overland Park stage. Planned to the hour so the day runs calm.
03
Story first in the cut, then color, sound and graphics. You see it early and often, not once at the end.
04
Every format you need, sized for where it actually runs, captioned and ready to publish.
Why Real Media
Our own stage and equipment, and one crew: the same people plan the shoot, run the day and cut the footage.
A 2,000 square foot green-screen stage and three built sets in Overland Park, lit and ready.
RED 8K and 6K cinema cameras with Zeiss prime lenses.
A recording studio designed by Steven Durr Designs for voice, music and mix.
Green screen and Unreal Engine sets when the location does not exist.
Testimonials
Two clients, on camera. Press play rather than take our word for it.
The video and the movement and everything that was produced by Real Media really helped inspire people to come back to the Y.Mark HuletCEO, YMCA of Greater Kansas City
The team was very accommodating and so nice to work with. I always felt supported. They were really able to lock into our vision, capture our goofy playfulness, but also in a professional manner.Megan BurtchMerchandising Manager, Redemption Plus
Questions
Straight answers. Where the honest answer is a quote, we say so.
Most corporate projects run $15,000 to $25,000. Shoot days, locations, the number of people on camera and the finish you need move the price more than the length of the video. We quote it in writing, before anything is booked.
The schedule is agreed before we start. A single interview edit is quicker than a multi-location brand film; both get dates on the calendar before a camera moves, and you see the cut early rather than once at the end.
A corporate video package covers the script and storyboard, crew, lighting and sound, shoot days on location or on our Overland Park stage, and the edit with color, sound and graphics. It ends with captioned files sized for each place the video runs. The scope and price are quoted in writing.
Yes. Most corporate work is filmed where the people are: your office, plant or job site, with the same crew, lighting and sound we use in the studio. Our Overland Park stage is there when a clean background or a set works better.
Usually, yes. Script and storyboard are part of the plan, and settling the story before the shoot day is what keeps the production on track. If you already have one, we will read it and give you an honest opinion.
The goal, the audience, where the video will run and a date you are working to. If you have a script, brand guidelines or past videos, send them. If you have none of that, that is what the first conversation is for.
The number of revision rounds is agreed in the quote, so nobody is surprised. Because you see the edit early and often rather than once at the end, formal rounds stay few and changes are made while the cut is still taking shape.
Every format the video actually runs on: a landscape cut for the website, vertical versions for social and a broadcast master when it airs. These are separate edits, not exports, and we size each one properly. Captions are included, so every file is ready to publish where it runs.
Corporate video production is the planning, filming and editing of video made for a company’s own audiences: training and onboarding, recruiting, brand films, product explainers, testimonials and commercials. One production partner handles script, crew, shoot and edit, then delivers the formats each channel needs.
